The Japan Rugby 2019 Organising Committee appointed MI Global Partners to deliver several key activities associated with planning and delivery of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. This work included the provision of program and project management, risk management, contingency planning, operational readiness expert advice and leadership, along with the delivery of various special projects.

 

MI Global Partners commission was extended to include the full-time presence of two Project Managers who were seconded to Japan to provide project management leadership. An MI senior consultant was also appointed to the four-person executive team as Executive Director – Planning, to ensure an integrated approach to planning and delivery.
