Dr Chris Turner, Head of Research

Chris is a Senior Research Consultant with MI Associates with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), Bachelor of Science and PhD in Neuroscience.

Chris has significant experience in developing and deploying qualitative and quantitative surveys to understand the factors required to improve relationships with stakeholders. He is an expert in gaining quality data from effective study design, as well as communicating complex information in simple digestible formats.

At MI Associates, Chris has worked on an important event industry stakeholder consultation project for Destination NSW, using face-to-face qualitative and online quantitative surveying techniques to gain industry insight into the performance of business events in regional NSW.

Chris also provided research analysis and review of MI Associates Mystery Customer Research for Venues Canberra and Product Concept Testing for a State Tourism organisation – both using online quantitative surveying of targeted audiences to gain vital consumer insights for our clients.

Prior to working at MI Associates, Chris worked for Monash IVF Group and achieved great success in increasing Doctor Referral to Monash IVF by 500%. He streamlined and modernised engagement efforts and developed an extensive library of public-facing marketing material.
