Dhruv Garg, Senior Analyst

Dhruv is a Senior Analyst with over five years’ experience in a research consulting capacity. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Delhi University and a Master of Business (Sport Management) from Deakin University.

Dhruv has been busy working on research projects for Tourism Events Queensland (TEQ), Northern Territory Major Events Company, Venues Canberra, South Australian Tourism Commission and Destination NSW. 

Dhruv designed, scripted and analysed results on recent MI projects including the Venues Canberra Mystery Customer Research project, the Tourism Product Concept Testing Research, as well as TEQ Major Events Research program.

For City of Perth, Dhruv ran the 2019 Economic Impact and Event Analysis project for Skyworks, including supervision of infield researchers during the event, followed by analysis and reporting to the City.

Prior to joining MI, Dhruv worked as an Analyst with the Research, Analytics and Knowledge wing of KPMG in India, working across several industries such as, Private Equity, Government, Commodities, Economic Development and M&A.


Dhruv’s background lies within the field of secondary research and analysis, having assisted KPMG UK with a white paper on the Scottish Independence Referendum, as well as research around establishing the People Powered Performance service line.

In addition, Dhruv has interned and volunteered with several sports organisations, including Gymnastics Australia, Cycling Victoria, Collingwood FC, and Tennis Australia.
