MI Associates were commissioned by the Japan Rugby 2019 Organising Committee to develop a planning framework to assist Japan plan the delivery of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
The commission required stakeholder consultation, the development of a road map and master schedule, and client services planning.

The road map provides a one-page visual representation of the key phases and planning activities for the tournament, providing a consistent view for all Rugby World Cup stakeholders, ensuring an integrated approach to planning and delivery can be achieved.

The master schedule builds on the activities included within the road map providing a detailed list of activities and milestones for each department to work towards.

MI Associates also delivered a series of “Day in the Life” seminars to assist organisers identify and understand client service needs, what service levels would be provided and determine the outsourcing model to support the delivery of these services for the Rugby World Cup.
