MLC Advice Centre


MLC saw the opportunity to increase its share of mass affluent customers through a new retail advice store concept which brings together the capabilities of dedicated financial planners and the MLC Advice brand. MLC Advice Centres are designed to progress customers through their journey with MLC Advice. MLC required advice and project management services to support the delivery of MLC Advice Centres all over Australia involving the selection, design and building of the stores, and the development of a baseline implementation plan for standalone stores. 


MI Associates, as the build Project Manager, provides advice and project management services (in consultation with MLC Advice Solutions and the MLC Advice Marketing team) for the selection, design and delivery of the of MLC Advice standalone stores. This includes a variety of roles including site selection and lease contracting support, liaison and management of appropriate suppliers to support the council approval and store build, liaison with council town planners and lead contact for council application interviews/response requests, co-ordination of support documentation, monitoring and review of store build delivery, and a review of overall project requirements, dependencies and planning needs to structure a baseline roll-out plan for future stand-alone stores.  


MLC Advice stores are now a network of financial advice centres in high street locations across the country. There are currently over 35 stores operating across Australia in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, SA and ACT. These stores have been roll-out to an approved budget and are consistent with MLC brand, design and objectives.
