General
1. MI Associates Pty Ltd trading as MI Global Partners (ABN 76 095 800 427) will conduct a prize competition (“the Competition”) according to the following terms and conditions. The "Promoter" will be referred to as MI. By participating in the Competition, all entrants agree to these terms and conditions.
Competition Period
2. The Competition commences at 11:00am (AEDT) on Thursday April 17th, 2025. All competition entries must be completed by 4.00pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 30th of April, 2025. The competition period is 14 days.
Entry Criteria/How to Enter
3. Entry to the Competition is only open to Sport Environment Alliance (SEA) Members (“Eligible Entrants”) with a valid email address. There is no entry fee for the Competition.
4. To enter the competition, an Eligible Entrant must complete the entry details on the SEA competition page on MI’s website. A limit of one entry, per SEA Member, applies to this Competition.
Game of Chance
5. This competition is a Game of Chance.
6. At the time and date that the five random winners are drawn, each valid entry will be entered. The winning entries will be the entries that are selected from a random draw (“the Winner”). The Winner will receive the Prize as defined in clause 8.
Prize (Description, Conditions, Draw)
7. The five winners will be notified by telephone call or email that they have won the Competition by 11:00am (AEDT) on Tuesday May 6th 2025 and will be required to confirm they satisfy the definition of an Eligible Entrant. The name of the winners will be published on MI’s LinkedIn page.
8. Once the Winner has confirmed they satisfy the definition of an Eligible Entrant in accordance with clause 7, they will be offered the following consultancy services as their prize (the “Prize”):
a) A 1 hour one-on-one complimentary sustainability roadmap advisory session with MI Global Partners. This session is designed to help strategise and map out the winner's sustainability path, which may include understanding and acting on greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs), energy, water, sourcing and supply chain, waste management, transport, workforce, social impacts and legacy and/or communications, advocacy and recognition. The aim is to help identify practical options for achieving sustainability ambitions.
b) The prize includes a one-page document summarising the recommendations provided during the in-person advisory session.
9. The Prize will be delivered via a Teams call to the Winners and is available to be taken by the Winner through mutual agreement on timings by July 18th 2025 (“the Prize Expiry Date”). MI will not be responsible for any additional expenses associated with the delivery of the Prize to the Winners.
10. If:
a) MI does not hear from a Winner within 10 days of notification of winning in accordance with clause 7;
b) The member identified as a Winner is deemed as not an Eligible Entrant;
c) A Winner opts out of receiving the Prize; or
d) A Winner does not redeem the Prize by the Prize Expiry Date,
the Winner’s prize will be forfeited and MI will be entitled to select another Winner in accordance with the process described above.
11. The Prizes have a value of approximately $4,000 + GST AUD (“the Prize Value”).
12. MI is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any Winner arising from, or in connection with the Prize. Independent financial advice should be sought if tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
13. MI is not responsible for any terms and conditions that are associated directly with the use of the Prize.
14. The Prize must be taken as stated (including, where applicable, being able to use the Prize before the Prize Expiry Date), and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
15. The Prize is not exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash.
16. Winners will be drawn at random at 99 Mount Street, North Sydney NSW. At the time and date specified in clause 7, each valid entry will be entered into a process of random selection, utilising a randomised algorithm. The number of winning entries to be selected, will be the same as the total number of Prizes specified in the Schedule 7.
17. Each Winner will be required to complete a pre-prize questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information about the Winner’s desired outcomes for the complimentary advisory session, ensuring that the one-hour session is tailored to deliver meaningful and outcome-focused insights
Promoter’s Rights
18. If an Eligible Entrant selects the checkbox on the entry submission form, they consent to receiving information about MI’s services and offerings.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude or disqualify any Eligible Entrant’s submission that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or at MI’ discretion.
20. All entries become and remain the property of the promoter.
21. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications.
Winner's Rights
22. The Winner has rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by these Terms and Conditions or by MI generally.
23. MI excludes all liability arising in tort, contract or otherwise for any injury, loss or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.
Privacy
24. Eligible Entrants’ personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Terms of Use and MI Privacy Policy which the Eligible Entrant has consented to as part of signing up to the SEA competition.

Termination Of Competition
26. The Promoter reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions of entry without prior notice and at its discretion or to extend, postpone or discontinue this Promotion at any time.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to Eligible Entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
28. The prize is subject to cancellation in the event the Promoter enters into bankruptcy, liquidation or any form of insolvency proceedings
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
29. The Promotion and these Terms of Entry will be governed by the law of the State of NSW in which the Promoter resides. Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of that State in connection with disputes concerning the Promotion.
