Establishing the Value of Touch Football Australia's
Touch Football Australia (TFA) had a number of moveable annual events, which were attractive to host destinations and were unsure if they were receiving market value for these events.
MI staff conducted a thorough review of all TFA's moveable event assets and undertook a detailed economic impact assessment of each event. This involved projections of visitor numbers (both participants and accompanying people), length of stay and average expenditure per day. We identified the most optimal packaging of TFA's event assets as well as undertaking an infrastructure audit of potential locations. MI staff also advised on how best to engage and approach various governments and to ensure that TFA's value proposition was carefully articulated in the language of government and highlighted the key benefits they seek.
MI staff were able to independently assist TFA to clearly articulate the value proposition for its movable event assets. We designed a successful approach that enabled them to secure over 200% more funding than had previously been received.
