Emma Collyer, Consultant
Emma is an experienced Consultant and Project Manager with a Bachelor of Management (Business) from Charles Sturt University. With a demonstrated history of working in management consulting, infrastructure, sport and government sectors, Emma has significant experience in a wide range of project management functions, risk analysis, event planning and management.
Emma has most recently been working on the Sydney Opera House Security Upgrades project. Prior, she completed a project for the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust as Project Superintendent, managing the head contractor and client interface for the upgrade of the Video Boards and LED Lettering located within the SCG.
Emma has also provided project management and risk services for the delivery of the Strategic Business Case for the Hunter Sport and Entertainment Precinct to INSW.
Emma also assisted in leading development of the Sunshine Coast Council’s Sports Plan to position the Sunshine Coast as one of the leading regional sport training, competition and participation destinations in Australia. The role required extensive stakeholder consultation, research and assessment; developing a strategic plan to deliver the vision.
Since joining MI, Emma has provided consultancy and lead project management services to MLC Advice in the delivery of 21 commercial fit out projects across Australia.
With the ability to manage projects and event outcomes whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail and delivering quality results for each client; her consultative and collaborative approach enables her to develop effective networks through strong influencing and leadership skills, working to the highest standard within any project team.
An elite athlete, Emma has competed in Australian Championships representing NSW and won the 2018 JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, representing MI.
