Emma is a Senior Consultant with over 19 years’ experience specialising in Project Management functions across events, sport, place and infrastructure.
With a collaborative, detailed and hands on project management approach, Emma has proven success managing complex infrastructure and event projects with quality outcomes for the client. As a consultative and results focused project leader, Emma thrives in challenging project environments, working closely with stakeholders to maximise outcomes.
Since joining MI in 2014, Emma has delivered a wide range of infrastructure and sporting event projects, including:

Secondment to Venues NSW (Accor Stadium) to provide Project Management services for the upgrade of catering outlets member facilities.

Client-Side Project Management and Advisory for Canberra Theatre Upgrades, providing advice for operational perspectives of the design.

Project Manager for the NSW Indoor Velodrome Business Case for the Office of Sport.

Lead Project Manager for Cox Architecture (and the Design Consultant Team) for an E-Gaming Precinct in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia.

Project Management for CommBank Stadium on a range of upgrade projects for their catering facilities ($1.2m).

Strategic planning and event management advice for the Australian Turf Club (ATC) with the preparation of an Operational / Event Plan of Management for a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) for non-race day events.

Leading the strategy and delivery of the infrastructure and overlay for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Delivering facility upgrades for Basketball NSW (Quay Centre $1m) and Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium ($400k).

Project lead on the design of a $10 million renewal project for the Western Forecourt and Lower Concourse for the Sydney Opera House.

Leading the Design, Procurement and Installation for the upgrade of the Video Boards and LED Signage within the SCG and SFS.

Strategic planning, consultation and the development of the Sunshine Coast Council’s Sports Plan for the region.

Delivery of 21 commercial fit out projects across Australia, providing consultancy and lead project management services.
Emma is a keen distance runner having competed at both State and National level and in 2021 was selected as part of the NSW team for the Australian Half Marathon Championships. She has also recently completed her Masters in Project Management at Southern Cross University.
