Rugby Australia

In 2019, Rugby Australia (RA) announced its interest in bidding for the 2027 Rugby World Cup (RWC) and commissioned MIGP as the RA bid partner for the two-year process. 

As a key bid partner, MI Global Partners became an extension of the RA team and provided expertise across several areas including development of the bid plan, formulation of the bid and tournament budget, development of the State and Territory content acquisition processes, along with providing critical RWC operational and technical expertise.

In May 2021, Australia was confirmed as the host for the 2027 Men's Rugby World Cup.
