Having secured the rights to host several major cycling events through the Green and Gold decade leading up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, AusCycling sought MI's expertise to seek government funding to assist with operational costs for these events.

MI provided a clear strategy to government demonstrating programs aligned with each event driving legacy outcomes for the sport. It also demonstrated a clear alignment with whole-of-government priorities including a quantification and articulation of the socio-economic benefits of the events and the legacy outcomes they would deliver.
