Earl Eddings is an experienced Chair, Non‑Executive Director and former CEO with a long history of guiding organisations through change, growth and complex stakeholder environments. He is known for his steady judgement, practical approach and ability to work constructively with people at all levels. Earl’s background spans listed companies, private enterprises, global sporting bodies and government‑related organisations, giving him a broad perspective on governance, risk and organisational performance.

Earl currently serves as Executive Chairman of HIT.IQ, where he is leading the renewal of a global sports technology business and supporting its expansion into key international markets. He is also Director of E4 Advisory, where he advises organisations on governance, strategy and access to capital. In addition, he acts as a Syndicate Chair at The CEO Institute, facilitating monthly forums for CEOs from a wide range of industries.

Earl’s governance experience includes significant national and international roles. During his time as Chair, Deputy Chair and Director of Cricket Australia, he oversaw major cultural and organisational reform following the Ethics Centre Review. He worked closely with players, administrators and stakeholders to rebuild trust, strengthen governance frameworks and stabilise the organisation during a period of intense public scrutiny. He also led the board through the challenges of the pandemic, maintained key partnerships and supported the introduction of progressive policies, including gender pay equity and enhanced parental leave provisions. He played a central role in establishing a national infrastructure fund and improving alignment across State and Territory associations.

Internationally, Earl served as a Director of the International Cricket Council, contributing to governance oversight across more than 100 member nations. As Chair of the ICC Strategy & Governance Reform Committee, he led the development of the organisation’s long‑term global strategy and worked with member countries to strengthen integrity, financial oversight and the growth of the women’s game. His work required careful negotiation, cultural awareness and the ability to bring diverse viewpoints to a shared outcome.

Earl has also held senior roles in the corporate sector, including as a Non‑Executive Director of MSL Solutions and as Managing Director of Greencap and WSP Asia Pacific. Across these roles he has led business integrations, reshaped operating models, supported digital transformation and helped organisations regain stability and direction.

Earl brings a grounded, people‑centred leadership style, strong governance capability and a calm, considered approach to decision‑making — qualities valued by boards navigating complexity and change.
