LOUISE RICHARDS
Finance and HR Manager
Louise is a Certified Practising Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Newcastle and more than 25 years’ experience in commercial finance and accounting across a range of industries.
Louise is a key member of the MI team, delivering financial reporting and analysis to stakeholders across the business, including local and international Directors. She equips decision-makers with the insights needed to support informed decisions aligned with best-practice accounting standards and strong ethical principles.
Alongside her finance responsibilities, Louise oversees MI’s full HR function, managing everything from recruitment and onboarding to staff welfare, training, performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with MI policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
She also leads MI’s ongoing ESG initiatives, measuring and reporting on the organisation’s social and environmental impact and working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities to reduce MI’s carbon footprint. MI Global Partners has proudly held B Corp certification since 2023.
Before joining MI, Louise held several long-term management and finance roles within global construction and packaging organisations.
Outside of work, Louise enjoys gardening - a passion sparked during the COVID lockdowns - and planning her next holiday, whether travelling with family, friends, or occasionally on her own.
