With the number of event organisers seeking funding and support from the Australian Government to host major sporting events in the lead up to Brisbane 2032, MI were commissioned to develop a strategic investment framework tool.

 

A first of its kind in Australia, this tool quantifies the broader social, economic, environment, sport and brand impacts of major sporting events and assesses the event's ability to meet the Australian Government's major event objectives and outcomes - enabling them to streamline their assessment of requests for support and prioritise their investment in events.
